Notes on the UNFCCC website
· The UNFCCC website is sizeable and contains a great deal of useful information.
· At the same time, it is highly complex, updated often, and reorganized regularly.
· It can thus be difficult to navigate, particularly inasmuch as there does not appear to be a sitemap.
· To complicate matters, some UNFCCC initiatives are are double-listed both on the main website
and on a modified core URL. For instance, the Race to Zero campaign is listed at both:
...and...
· Listed below are key highlights that are roughly organized according to the UNFCCC's website
structure.
· "Main" UNFCCC webpages all begin with "http//:unfccc.int/______"
COP: Conference of the parties
COP: Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the
Kyoto Protocol
CMA: Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the
Paris Agreement
Constituted bodies
Parties & non-Party stakeholders
